7:14 pm	Out of Character NAME: Juliet E-MAIL: slayer203@yahoo.com AIM: Red Shoe Juliet In Character Name: Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the 4th aka Radical Edward Age: 18 (post anime) Fandom: Cowboy Bebop History: (Info on Ed circa the anime: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cowboy_Bebop_characters#Edward) A computer genius from the Bebop and a master hacker(mostly self taught). She's still that crazy girl from the Bebop, just all grown up at 22 and talking like a normal person (at least most of the time). But what makes her unique is alive and kicking. Her four legged best friend Ein the Welsh Corgi is along for the ride, friendly but loyal to his master and just as smart. But to most she's just your happy go lucky free spirit, that explains her going blonde for about 6 months while on Mars after all. She spent the next few years post Bebop on Mars working with some freelance bounty hunters and as a white hat hacker/computer tech. She made friends and found new sources, one of them bringing her back to Ganymede on a mission to find Spike,Jet and Faye. She has no idea Spike is missing and was basically seen as dead while word of her other friends is still unknown. There's just one little thing: Ed is not from this time. She's from an Earth in the future that has more than a few problems, falling rocks caused by the Gate accident anyone? Somehow she and Ein found themselves in modern day Earth instead of the Mars of her time. So what does this mean for Ed? She's just going to try and blend in while keeping her true self intact. But look out Skynet, Radical Edward has hit town and she's out to find her friends, have some fun and do some good as a white hat hacker. Any special abilities: In Edward's actual time she is considered a computer genius and is also an expert hacker. Part of her duties on the Bebop was acting as the team hacker and general computer expert. In game she'll still have her ability as a hacker along with being a computer genius but due to being from the future she'll let people think she's mostly self taught (which is true given what is known about her from before the anime). She's still that same sunny young woman from the Bebop but the last few years have let her basically grow up. But now she's more known for her brainpower behind a computer and among bounty heads she is still the most feared among hackers of her time period. Actually her fashion sense has gotten better to, now looking like a young woman in her early 20's complutere with gear. She screams "walking geek" but she has a way of either driving people nuts or making them smile. (I'm still fleashing this version of her out so more will be added to this over time) History; This version of Ed is taken several years post events of the anime for Cowboy Bebop. After leaving the crew she never found her father and just went into business for herself as a hacker for other bounty hunters (called cowboys in canon). She also has no idea Spike Spegiel is indeed dead but part of her is sure something happened. With no word from either Jet Black or Faye Valentine she goes in search of her old friends but something called being dumped in purgatory got in the way. As for how she landed in purgatory even she has no idea, last she knew she was on Mars for a routine hacking job. But somehow her computer has come along so Ed figures make the best of things as she tries to find a way back to her actual time period. 3:48 pm	Who else is royally bugged by recent events? I fall into the semi annoyed end because of having to unhook then just rehook up all my electronics and computer gear. But how people can see this as a good thing is totally beyond me judging from reactions I overheard at Best Buy the last couple of nights. As for the peeping tom this is nothing new, went through a couple of scares like this while in Toyko. But I am not taking chances on my files right now. Beyond that and the stalker I really can't complain too much. I'm making friends and can only hope my new suitemates are ok with all the cords,gadgets and computer gear around the suite. All I can really hope for is that my new suite mates are just nice guys since I don't know much beyond names. Ok I also have this feeling they will think I'm a guy because of my name, but that's nothing new! That part is something I'm used to now. Kitty: New room too? But for now work is calling! 2:31 am	Things have been pretty routine last few days and since the last update. Been working like crazy since the power came back on, loads of people freaking out over lost files and one new professor with an install job. Besides that and taking an higher level math class my life is back to a semi normal. Math: I've been itching for a challenge and decided to take a higher level one for the summer. Math and computers are linked together so anything to make me stronger with the computer is a good thing. Also started looking into classes for my other major, computer forensics (in english, using the computer to solve crimes). Work: I took a quick job for the people I worked for in Japan and its just a routine upgrade job, I'm sending everything via email and well I missed that. Social life: this one is a work in progress! Ok, hopping off for now. My work phone is ringing and now its a bar having problems with the forzen drink machine. 1:33 am	Ed is in the best mood ever! Ok, so I should warn people I have a habit of talking in the 3rd person. Its just one quirk of several that I have. Someone told me it was part of the ADHD but I think of it as part of me. But life in my little corner of the net is swimming along at its nutty pace, for me that's a good thing. Offically started as a Geek Squad member last week and already had a rash of tax software problems thanks to some bug and my personal favorite: people getting new hardware and being driven nuts. Plus I hooked up two dish systems, my idea of the perfect challenge! Tommorow I'm scheduled to hook up a flat screen tv and fix the computer system at one of the law offices: something about a blotched upgrade. Already sent out an email to the campus network about being the new tech for this end of town so I can only hope for more work :) I also missed one voice mail so whoever called about the blown copy machine please call me back! Otherwise Ed finally met the suitemates: Neville and Lily. They both seem like cool enough people but Ed also has a feeling I'll have to give them a crash course of computers. I also met Matt while heading to the bookstore to replace my zip drive, it got dinged in the move. But you know what makes people social? Bake sales. 7:27 pm	These things were just getting big in Toyko before I moved back so figured join the cyber herd and get a journal. But I'm Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV, sophomore Computer Science/ Criminology (computer forensics focus) major. Online I'm Radical Edward and just moved into Tudor 103 and have not met the suitemate just yet, only know his name is Neville Longbottom. I can only hope he's nice and ok about rooming with a girl, but then I shared an apartment with 3 guys in Japan. Plus there's always the chance of interesting neighbors too! Time to explain Toyko gang! I lived there for the last year and a half while working as a freelance computer tech. Loved being there but it was just time to come home and go back to school, took a few classes while away so that should explain a few things plus tested out of some core classes. Self taught when it comes to computers so people have called me a prodigy, but I just see it as me. There's also the ADHD factor but I spent all morning dealing with Disabled Students, I don't see it as a problem one bit. Its just a part who I am as a person and makes me want to prove more people wrong. Onto the fun stuff! I love funky t-shirts and anything with smilie faces (bit of a trademark since I'm also a white hat hacker aka one of the good guys, worked for some bounty hunters on a by the job basis). Also got a job at Best Buy as part of the Geek Squad aka computer tech. Even dyed my hair blonde for a bit while in Japan, but it was just for fun and only for a few months. Only been back a few days and not much has changed. But I'm a touch homesick for Toyko so visit me! Just look out for wires and cords since I'm trying to get all my computer gear set up. But in the meantime anyone know a good computer shop besides the Best Buy? One of my modems got dinged up in the move.
